Appetizer Toast toppers Crustini/ Bruschetta/ Toasted french bread
Toast thin slices of bread and spread with:
Fancy Bruschetta topper
- Choose any or all to mix in :
- Roasted red peppers (hold over flame until blackened)
- Jar artichokes
- Sautéed mushrooms
- Sundried tomatoes
- Puree each with
- S & p
- 1 T balsamic vinegar per cup of vegi
- Melted margarine ¼ C or so per cup of vegetable
- Garlic cloves (2 per cup of vegi)
- Adding Olive oil until good consistency
Fresh tomato basil topper
- Puree 2 garlic gloves with
- ¼ C olive oil
- Gently mix in:
- 1 C diced fresh tomatoes
- ½ C chopped fresh basil leaves
- S & p to taste
