Stuffed Mushrooms:

Stuffed Mushrooms:
  • for 12 large mushroom caps:
  • Heat 1 T olive oil and
  • 1 T vegan Margarine
  • Add ½ chopped onion
  • The chopped mushroom stems
  • 2 cloves garlic.
  • When mushrooms are done add the rest, stirring until lightly toasted. About a minute.
  • 2 T ground bacos (optional) (use spice grinder)
  • 2 T nutritional yeast
  • 2 T parsley
  • Dash cayenne
  • 1 ½ C bread crumbs
  • S & p
  • Stuff caps and drizzle with 2 T melted vegan margarine.
  • Bake 375 for 12 minutes

  • Use 1/4 t liquid smoke in place of the bacos if you want.
