Home made Cream de mint Liqueur recipes
Simple cream de menthe'
- 2 C vodka
- 1 C corn syrup
- ½ t mint extract
- food color optional
- Just mix .
- Let sit for several days, if possible, to infuse flavors better.
Creme de Menthe recipe with mint extract
- 8 cups sugar
- 6 cups water
- 1 pint 188 proof grain alcohol
- 1 oz pure mint extract
- 1 t green food coloring
- Bring sugar and water to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Cover and let sit for 1 month.
Homemade Creme de Menthe with fresh mint leaves
- Place in large jar
- 2 C fresh clean mint leaves
- Pour over
- 4 cups vodka
- Let sit 36 - 48 hours
- Strain and toss leaves
- Boil /simmer about 5 minutes
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- in 1 cup water
- Cool, then add syrup to mint-infused vodka.
- Add a few drops green food color if desired
- Keep in Resealable bottle.
