Homemade Smoothies and Shakes
Basic Smoothie
- Place ingredients in a blender
- Fruit of choice: Frozen berries or mango, peaches or?
- Optional add a frozen sliced Banana
- Add liquid to just cover the fruit
- (Soy milk or Non dairy milk = smoothie)
- (Fruit Juice = slushie)
- Add 1 T sugar or = sweetener, agave, jam, ... Taste and adjust for you.
- 1 t almond or vanilla flavor optional
- Blender til smooth
Smoothie with tofu
- 1 Banana (frozen )
- Handful of frozen fruit, berries or mango, or ?
- 1 C OJ
- 4 oz silken soft tofu
- 1 T sugar or = sweetener
- 1 t almond or vanilla flavor, optional
- Blender til smooth
Vegan orange Julias
- 1 C water
- 1 C soymilk
- 6 oz frozen OJ concentrate
- 8 ice cubes
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- Mix well in Blender
Chocolate banana Tofu shake
- 4 oz silken soft tofu
- 1 sliced frozen banana
- 2 T chocolate syrup. + -
- 1 C soy milk
- 1 t vanilla
- Blender til smooth.
- Option add 2 t instant coffee
Melon Freeze
- 1 melon diced
- 8 oz pineapple
- 10 frozen strawberries
- 1 C OJ
- ½ C ice
- Blender
Chocolate banana PB shake
- 1 C soymilk
- 1-2 T chocolate syrup
- 1 sliced frozen banana
- 2 T Peanut Butter
- 2 T cocoa powder
- 2 or more ice cubes
- Blender smooth

Tips and ideas:
Always keep some sliced bananas in your freezer. Berries too!
Add other ingredients, such as a spoon of spirulina, carrot juice, handful of spinach leaves...
