Breakfast Cake with Bisquick
Gooey Apple (or peach) Breakfast Cake
- Melt:
- ¾ c vegan margarine
- ¾ c b sugar
- 2 t cinn.
- Add:
- 6-8 Sliced apples or peaches
- Simmer 5 minutes
- Put into 8x8 pan and top with:
- Mixed:
- 2 C bisquick
- 1 c soymilk
- 2 T cornstarch
- 2 T ground flax seed
- 2 T oil
- sprinkle with sugar cinn.
- Bake 375 until golden about 30 min.
- Flip upside down on serving plate.
If using canned or thawed frozen fruit, don't simmer, just mix in.

Tips and ideas:
If you dont have bisquick, use this:
- 2 cups flour.
- 1 T baking powder.
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt.
- 2 tablespoon shortening (Crisco), coconut oil, or high fat vegan butter/margarine.
Add craisins to apples for holidays
Berries are great too!
