BLUEBERRY SYRUP
Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe

Homemade BLUEBERRY SYRUP
1/2 c.sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c water
1/4 c corn syrup
2 t lemon juice
2 c blueberries
 

Boil / simmer 15 minutes until thickened

Blueberry Syrup or sauce:
1 # frozen berries thaw
½ C apple juice
½ C sugar
Boil/simmer 15 minutes
Mix:
1 T cornstarch
with 2 T apple juice and
1 T lemon juice
Add to blueberries
boil until thick


TIPS
Use virtually any berry or fruit.
Some people like to strain their fruit for a smoother syrup.

Great used as a pancake syrup or dessert topping
