Traditional Black Eyed Peas
- 1 # dried black eyed peas cover with water and soak overnight
- Drain.
- Add 4 C boiling water
- 1 t salt
- 2 T sugar
- 2 T oil, (optional)
- ½ cup bacos, or vegan bacon bits (optional)
- Bring to a boil then simmer 2 hours until tender
Directions:
