- Fruit
Filling:
- Combine in
saucepan:
- ½ C
sugar
- 1 T
cornstarch
- ½ C
water
- 2 C fresh or
frozen berries, or apples
- Bring to a boil,
and boil 2 minutes.
- Remove and
cool.
- Dough
- Combine:
- ½ C
oil
- 1/3 C plain
soymilk
- 2 t
vinegar
- Mix dry
ingredients:
- 2 C
flour
- ¼ t baking
soda
- ¼ t
salt
- Add to
wet

- Roll Flat, 1/8
Inch thick
- Cut into 4
½ inch circles.
- Spoon 1 T of
filling into center.
- Fold
over.
- Seal edges with
a fork
- Fry in hot oil
¼ -1/2 inch deep
- Fry both sides
about 1 ½ minutes each until
golden
