Homemade Brown Mustard with wine
- Process 3 T brown mustard seeds into powder.
- Mix in 2 T water and let sit 30 minutes.
- Add and process:
- 6 T vinegar (white vinegar or tarragon, or similar)
- 2 T white wine
- 1 t fresh ground pepper
- 1 t salt
- 1 t agave.
- Transfer to clean jar and fridge for at least 10 days before using
Homemade Hot and Spicy Mustard
- Pour 1/4 C Boiling water over
- 1/4 C whole yellow mustard seeds
- Cover. Sit 1 hour until all water is absorbed.
- Process with:
- 1/4 C agave
- 2 T ground mustard
- 1 t salt
- 1/8 t cloves (optional)
- Fridge at least 1 day before using.
