Pepper Powder
- Take any hot pepper, or a variety
- Cut in half
- Remove seeds and inner loose flesh.
- Bake at 170, with the door slightly ajar for 2 hours until brittle
- Cool
- Process or grind into a powder.
- Use as any hot pepper, such as Cayenne
Pepper oil
- For 1 T pepper powder
- Mix with 1 t canola oil, making a paste.
- Add 1 C canola oil and mix well.
- Set aside at least 2 hours
- Strain if desired
