Orange or grapefruit Marmalade
- Remove peel and pith from 2 large red grapefruits, or 4 oranges
- Thinly slice 1/2 the peel
- Slice fruit thin and place in saucepan with the sliced peel
- Add 4 C water
- Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer 1-1/2 Hour til syrupy
- Cool add 1/4 C lemon or orange or grapefruit juice
- 1 t vanilla
- Pour into Jar cover and chill.
- Lasts 2 months.--
