Classic Vegan Corn dogs, Pronto Pups
- Mix
- 1/4 c cornmeal
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 T bp
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 T sugar
- 1/2 c plain unsweetened soymilk (with only soybeans and water on the label)
- 2 T oil
- 1/2 t paprika
- dash pepper
Bisquick corndogs
- 1 C bisquick
- 2 T cornmeal
- Paprika
- 2 T oil
- ½ C plain soymilk (with only soybeans and water on the label)
Corny Corn dogs
- Mix
- 1 C cornmeal
- 1 C flour
- ¼ t baking soda
- 1 t baking powder
- ½ t cayenne pepper
- 2 t salt
- Blender the following then Fold into dry ingredients.
- 1 Can cream corn (check the label. it should all be vegan)
- 1 ¼ c soymilk
- 1 T vinegar
- 1/3 c onion
- 1 T jalapeño (optional)
- Let sit 10 minutes

Instructions
- A package of Your Favorite vegan wieners.
- Insert wooden sticks ½ way into wiener (Reused chop sticks from take out work great)
- Dip into mixture (use a tall glass)
- Deep fry 375, until deep gold color.
- Peanut oil, Corn oil, or canola oil for deep frying
- Serve with mustard and ketchup, of course
If the batter doesn't stick very well, roll the wiener in a little cornstarch first.
