VEGAN Pigs in a Blanket


2 C flour

1 T Baking Powder

1 t salt

2/3 cups Unsweetened plain soymilk*

1 T sugar

1/3 C shortening/vegan margarine



Mix dry ingredients

Melt margarine and sugar and stir in soymilk

Mix dry with wet gently.
Add a little more flour if too wet to handle

Drop 6 onto greased sheet.

Arrange a vegan hotdog in the center of each
and wrap dough around,
leaving ends open a little

Bake 425 10-13 minutes

  • * For best results Only use soy milk that has just soybeans and water on the ingredients label. Other ingredients will alter the flavor.
  • Serve with mustard and ketchup
