Homemade Refried Beans, Vegan recipes
Homemade Refried Beans
- 1 lb red beans soak overnight
- Boil 2 min add
- ½ t baking soda.
- Rinse cover w/ water
- add:
- 2 cl. garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- Boil 1 hour, or til soft. (depends on beans)
- Add more water if dry.
- Mash
- Add ½ t salt
- 2 T oil (or more)
- 1 T Garlic Powder
- ½ c minced onion, or 2 T onion Powder
- 2 T bacos (optional)
- 2 drops Tabasco
- 1 t Cilantro
- 1/2 t Cumin
- (adjust seasonings to taste)

Tips and ideas:
Much Better than Store bought!
