Traditional Chow Mein
- Saute:
- 2 T oil
- 6 Stalks sliced celery
- 2 sliced onion
- 1 chopped carrot (optional)
- 1 chopped bell pepper (optional)
- Add:
- 1/2 pound or so vegan burger crumbles.
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 c water
- s & p
- Small thumnb nail size, grated fresh ginger, or 1/2 t powder
- When cooked through add:
- 2 T cornstarch in
- ΒΌ c water
- Add:
- small sliced can water chestnuts
- large can bean sprouts
- small can mushrooms.
Serve over crunchy chow mein noodles. or white rice.
