Cholesterol Free Vegan Recipe

Biscuits
2 c bisquick
2/3 c soymilk
1/2 " thick on ungrease sheet
450 8-10 min

These recipes go along with Homemade Bisquick / Biscuit Mix
Reminder: ONLY use soymilk that has just Soybeans and water on the ingredients
AND use a stick margarine or shortening such as crisco.
Whipped margarine's are mostly air and water and will alter the recipe dramatically
biscuits
2 c bisquick
2/3 c soymilk
2 t vinegar
1/2 " thick on ungrease sheet
450 8-10 min

 Butter sticks
Mix:
1/3 c softened vegan margarine
2 c bisquick
½ c cold water or soymilk
roll cut 10 x 6 " = 12
Roll in melted margarine
Place in 13 x 9
(optional sprinkle w/ seeds/ garlic salt
Bake 425 12-15

Dumplings
2 c bisquick
2/3 c soymilk
1 t sage
¾ t celery seed
spoon droop on cooking hot soup
uncover 10 min
cover 10 more

Pancakes
2 c bisquick
1 c soy milk
1 T vinegar

(Try adding chopped apples, nuts, berries, bananas, chocolate chips.. before you flip the first side)
Waffles
2 c bisquick
1 1/3 c soy milk
1 T vinegar

Oatmeal waffles
1 ½ c bisquick
1 T vinegar
1 2/3 c soymilk
3 T melted margarine
1 c oats

chocolate waffles
1 ½ c bisquick
1 c sugar
¾ c Soy milk
1/3 c cocoa
1 T vinegar
2 T oil
(Try with w/caramel bananas, or strawberrries..)

Gooey Apple (or peach) Breakfast Cake

Crustless Quiche
Saute 1/3 c onion
w/other vegis of choice (Mushrooms, broccoli, asperigas, spinach... )
put in pie plate
Blender:
2 c soymilk
½ c bisquick
2 T cornstarch
8 oz tofu
mix w/1/4 c bacos
½ c nutritional yeast
pour on top of vegis and onions
Bake 375 50 -55 minutes
Sit 15 minutes before eating
Batter Franks
1 c bisquick
2 T cornmeal
½ t paprika
1/8 t pepper
½ t dry mustard
1 T cornstarch
2/3 c soymilk
Mix all. Pour into tall glass.
 
1 # vegan wieners on wooden sticks, or chopstix. Dip in batter.
(If batter doesn't stick, sprinkle a little cornstarch on weiners before dipping in batter)
deep fry until golden brown
(Peanut oil works best)
Choc orange bread
1/4 cup tofu
1 T ground flax seeds
2/3 c sugar
¾ c oj
2 C bisquick
6 T cocoa
2 T oil
½ c nuts
1 t vanilla
350 40-45

PB & J coffee cake
2 c bisquick
2 T sugar
¼ c pb
1 T vinegar
2/3 c soymilk
1 T ground flax
grease 9" cake pan
top w/ ½ c jam
400 25-30

coffee cake
2 c Bisquick
2 T sugar
1 T cornstarch
1 T ground flax
2/3 c milk
1 T vinegar
greased cake pan
top w/:
2 T butter
1/3 c bisquick
1/3 c b sugar
½ t cinn
400 20-25

 

cherry swirl (Fruit pie filling)
4 c bisquick
½ c sugar
2 T cornstarch
¼ c margarine
½ c soymilk
1 T vanilla
2 T oil
3 T ground flax
2 T vinegar
spread 2/3 in 8x8 or bigger less time
top w/ cherry or? pie fill
top w/ rest of batter
350 20-25
glaze 1 c p sugar
2 T soymilk

Chocolate coconut swirl
2 C bisquick
¼ c sugar
1 T cornstarch
1 T ground flax
2 T softened vegan margarine
greased floured 8x8
top w/
melted: 1/3 c chips
2/3 c soymilk
1 T vinegar
swirl into batter then top :
1 T butter
1/3 c coconut
¼ c nuts
¼ c sugar
