Homemade SAGE HERB BREAD
SAGE HERB BREAD
- HEAT
- 1 c plain unflavored soymilk (only soybeans and water on label)
- with 2 t vinegar
- 2 t sage
- 1 t thyme
- cool
- Add:
- ½ c softened vegan margarine
- 3 T oil
- 1/4 - ½ c sugar
- 2 T ground flax
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 t salt
- 3 c flour plus more for stiff dough
- Form into loaf
- Place on greased sheet or loaf pan
- (Does not raise much)
- Bake 350 40 - 45 minutes

Tips and ideas:
- Great with soups
- or under gravy as in biscuits and gravy!
- Use any herbs you want here, that go with what you are serving.
