Black Bean
Burger with Oats
3 16 oz Cans
black beans
1 1/2 c uncooked
regular oats
1 finely diced
onions
2 jalapeno
peppers (optional) seeded and finely
diced
2 T
oil
1/4 C nutritional
yeast
1 t
salt
Dredge
mix:
1/4 c
flour
1/4 c
cornmeal
Instructions
Mash beans and
add remaining burger
ingredients
Form into 8
patties
Dredge in
flour/cornstarch
Fry in hot oil
about 5 minutes each side
Serve on
buns
