Homemade Granola


Favorite Homemade Granola

  • Mix:
  • 8 C whole oats
  • 1 C shredded coconut
  • 2 C bran flakes
  • 1 C whole wheat flour
  • 1 C sunflower seeds
  • ¾ C finely chopped peanuts
  • ¼ C sesame seeds
  • 1 C shredded wheat
  • ½ C cornmeal
  • Heat until melted:
  • 1 ½ C brown sugar
  • ½ C molasses
  • 1 ½ C water
  • 1 ½ C oil
  • 1/3 C agave nectar
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • Pour over oat mixture, stirring well.
  • Spread onto greased jelly roll pans.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, turn to 300 when putting granola in oven.
  • Bake 15 minutes, stir, 10 minutes, stir, 10, and 10..stirring between.
  • Cool. Add 4 C raisins, or other dried fruit.
  • 3 C vegan semi sweet chocolate chips if desired…
