Homemade Granola
The Best Homemade Granola I have
found!
Mix:
- 8 C whole
oats
- 1 C shredded
coconut
- 2 C bran
flakes
- 1 C whole wheat
flour
- 1 C sunflower
seeds
- ¾ C finely
chopped peanuts
- ¼ C sesame
seeds
- 1 C shredded
wheat
- ½ C
cornmeal
-
- Heat until
melted:
- 1 ½ C brown
sugar
- ½ C
molasses
- 1 ½ C
water
- 1 ½ C
oil
- 1/3 C agave
nectar
- 2 t
cinnamon
- Pour over oat
mixture, stirring well.
- Spread onto
greased jelly roll pans.
- Preheat oven to
350 degrees, turn to 300 when putting
granola in oven.
- Bake 15 minutes,
stir, 10 minutes, stir, 10, and
10..stirring between.
- Cool. Add 4 C
raisins, or other dried
fruit.
- 3 C vegan semi
sweet chocolate chips if
desired
