Grandmas Homemade Slow Sage Stuffing

  • Saute 5 minutes:
  • ¾ c vegan margarine
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 ½ c chopped celery
  • ¼ c fresh parsley
  • Add:
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • cook 1 minute
  • Add:
  • 1 T sage
  • 2 t salt
  • ½ t pepper
  • 1 t thyme
  • ½ t marjoram
  • 1 t celery seed
  • 1/4 C vegetable broth powder
  • 2 c water
  • Bring to a boil
  • Fold in:
  • 8 c dry bread cubes
  • Bake several hours, if possible, covered in a casserole, 325.
