Vegan Recipes
BulgurPilaf
- Saute
- 1/3 c vegan margarine
- 1/3 c onion
- 1/3 c bell pepper
- 3 c bulgur
- Add
- 6 c vegetable broth or (6 Cups water plus 6+ teaspoons of broth powder)
- Add
- 9 oz can mushrooms

- 1½ t salt
- ¼ t pepper
- Bring to a Boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cover, simmer 15 min
Tips and ideas:
- Add other spices like thyme, garlic, rosemary etc...depending on what you are serving it with.
Quinoa risotto
- 2 c boiling water
- Add:
- 1 C quinoa
- 1/2 t salt
- Simmer til dry 15 min
- Saute
- 1 T oil
- 1 onion
- cook 5 min
- Add:
- 1 cl garlic
- Add:
- 1# mixed mushroom
- 1 t thyme
- When mushrooms are cooked, add
- 1 c white wine
- When Almost dry add the quinoa and mix well
Tips and ideas:
Basic Tabbouleh Salad
- 2 C bulgur
- Cover with warm water stand til soft
- 15 min then drain
- Mix with
- 1 bunch chopped parsley
- 1/2 c chopped fresh mint leaves
- 4 green onions chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 6 T lemon juice
- 2 T olive oil
- 3/4 t cumin
- Salt to taste
