Caramelized Onions

  • In large saute pan, heat 1/4 C oil.
  • Add:
  • 4 + large onions sliced into very thin rings
  • Over Medium heat ...Stir until heated through, and starts to sizzle...
  • Then turn heat to low, Cover and cook about 1/2 hour.
  • Uncover stir cook until lightly browned. 30-60 minutes more

  • Onions do not need added sugar when cooked low and slow.
