Great Hamburger buns

  • Great Hamburger buns
  • mix/proof:2 pkg yeast
  • 2 t sugar
  • ½ C warm water
  • Mix: 3 ½ C soymilk,
  • ½ C melted high oil margarine or Crisco, or oil
  • 2 T salt
  • ¼ C sugar
  • Mix all together and slowly add flour. (5 # more or less)
  • Kneading until smooth and elastic. Around 10 minutes
  • Rise punch rise punch
  • Shape into small tennis balls and flatten slightly.
  • Let rise the bake 375 20 minutes, more or less, depending on the size of the buns.
  • Great with ¼ whole wheat flour.
