Soft Homemade Pretzils
- Proof:
- 2 T water
- 1 yeast
- -----
- Add: 1 1/3 C water
- 1/3 c brown sugar
- 1T oil
- 4 c flour
- Knead with more flour til soft.
- -----
- Rise
- Punch.
- Shape. 10 inch rope.
- tie into pretzel
- Rise.
- ------
- Ready: Pot of boiling water with ΒΌ C baking soda.
- Carefully slide risen pretzils into boiling water. A couple at a time.
- 15 seconds/side
- Remove. Drain on Cloth.
- Place on greased sheet.
- Spray top with oil (optional)
- and sprinkle with course salt
- Bake 435 10 min..
Tips:
These are best the day you make them
Some like with mustard, vegan butter, or a vegan cheese sauce
