Pita Bread
- Dissolve 2 yeast in :
- 1 c warm water and
- Pinch sugar
- When bubbly add:
- 2 t salt
- 1/2 c oil
- 1 1/2 c water
- 7-8 c flour + -
- Mix knead rise punch rise.
- Divide into 8 or?
- Roll out flat.
- Rise a few min.
- Bake in preheated 500 degree oven
- on the bottom shelf for 5 min.
- Move to middle shelf for 5 more, at 425 degrees.
- Remove and place in covered dish, or foil for 10 min
- Bag when cool.
