Poppy seed Bread squares
- Proof:
- 1 t yeast in
- ¼ c warm water
- Add:
- 2 c flour
- Beat 3 minutes.
- Mix in:
- ¼ c melted/cooled Crisco or canola oil
- 2 T sugar
- 1 t salt
- 2 2/3 c flour
- Cover. Rise 1 hour.
- Stir down.
- Spread in greased 13 x 9
- Sprinkle with 1 T poppy seeds
- rise 45 minutes.
- Bake 375 25-30 min.
- Cut into squares
