Poppy seed Bread squares, No Knead Yeast Bread

Poppy seed Bread squares

  • Proof:
  • 1 t yeast in
  • ¼ c warm water
  • Add:
  • 2 c flour
  • Beat 3 minutes.
  • Mix in:
  • ¼ c melted/cooled Crisco or canola oil
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 2/3 c flour
  • Cover. Rise 1 hour.
  • Stir down.
  • Spread in greased 13 x 9
  • Sprinkle with 1 T poppy seeds
  • rise 45 minutes.
  • Bake 375 25-30 min.
  • Cut into squares
