Home Made Deep Dish Pizzas
Prepare Chunky tomato sauce
- Saute' in a couple tablespoons oil, 2 minutes
- 1/4 c onion
- 1/4 c bell pepper
Add the following, Bring to a Boil then Simmer 15 min.:
- 1 t sugar
- ¾ t salt
- ½ t garlic powder
- ½ t oregano
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1 ½ c chopped tomatoes
Spread dough on to bottom and sides of greased 8x8 casserole pan
brush dough with 1 T oil
Top dough with:
- 1 pound browned vegan burger...
- Top with 1/ 2 c shredded vegan cheddar type cheese
- or make a homemade cheese sauce...
- Top that with the Tomato sauce
- more cheese or cheese sauce
Bake 450 15 min

Tips and ideas:
I always double this recipe, and use and 8 x 16, to make sure I have lots of left overs
Freezes great
